Hello,

I'm looking for a website that will track all of my miles/points from different airline and hotel programs in one place. I know that awardwallet.com and acruw are two such sites. Which one is better? Or are there other good ones?

Thanks!

This has been discussed before. In previous threads, I've recommended yodlee.com or one of its licensed products (available through various financial institutions); it allows you to track miles, points, and all of your finances in a single place.

Yodlee is great - I use Fidelity's branded version.

I also use Mile Tracker as a client app on my PC. I don't have the issues that others seem to have with it.

Another vote for Yodlee. I use it for both FFP tracking and financials (credit cards, etc.) It's great to have everything in one place so I can easily run thru the bills on pay day.

Only negative about the generic site (not co-branded) is it's a live beta version, so occasionally some functionality will break for a while. It's workable tho.

I've been using PageOnce.com for me and my family.

I can't remember why I chose that over Yodlee, but I think it may have been that it would only track one account per program, and I generally need four per program.

PageOnce also has a free and a paid iPhone app that work with it, and I find that (free) pretty handy.

I like the Bank of America "My Portfolio" feature, which is free if you have an account.

You just have to add the site (with appropriate login info) multiple times. You can nickname accounts to easily keep them organized, as well. I track my wife's mileage accounts along with my own, for example... no problems.

Yodlee works great for points & miles as well as finances. Very nice dashboard of your overall situation - ie can I afford to travel, what airline and hotel could be free, etc.

Fidelity's version is named "Full View (https://scs.fidelity.com/products/checking/content/learnmore3a.shtml)", and an even newer version (the current one already kicks bootay) is on the way. If you have a Fidelity brokerage account, access to the feature is free and simple.

Does Yodlee do American Airlines? That's a big hole in PageOnce.

Sounds increasingly like I may be moving over to Yodlee.

I see there's no iPhone app. Is there a decent mobile web interface?

If I just want an app/website that tracks my FFP, would MileageManager be enough? Or is Yodlee out and out better?

Cheers for yodlee.com
Have been using it for years. Can even track my e-mails (besides credit cards, bank accounts, hotel programmes, etc. - Oh and of course FFP's).

Is there a decent mobile web interface?Decent, but not the best. Still, not too bad.

If I just want an app/website that tracks my FFP, would MileageManager be enough? Or is Yodlee out and out better? If you just want to track FFPs, Yodlee may be overkill. However, you might find you like it for tracking your financials, as well.

Yea, that's what I thought. Does mileage manager do a good enough job?

Does Mileage Manager do a good enough job?

I think Mileage Manager is fine. Outside of an occasional glitch it functions as I would expect. The times I've had an administrative problem someone responded within two days. One thing I wish it did better is to identify expiration dates for miles/points in different accounts; for most it says something like "Check with your program for details." It would be helpful to have a list of expiration dates for Delta SkyMiles or Alaska Mileage Plan, etc, so I would know to go do something active for those accounts.

However, I've never used another mileage/point tracker, so I don't have much comparison. The reason I chose MM over others, back a few years ago, was because Randy Petersen ran it; I figured it would be reliable. Can someone who has tried more than one comment?

There are other ones too, although some seem to have gone belly up.
These look active: MilePort (http://www.mileport.com/), MileTracker (http://www.miletracker.com/).

Mileport from Tim Winship is still in business, easy to use and works great.

I've been using yodlee for several years now, I can't live without it for one days because all I need is one login name & password to track all my cc, bank, miles, emails, etc.

is there a tracking site or program that shows you how much your balance has changed since your last login/check?

i liked miletracker, in part because it resided on my computer and in part because it clearly showed how much my balance went up or down. now that it no longer functions for delta (my primary program), i had to switch and picked yodlee for its broad coverage, but it does not tell me how much each balance has changed.

Awardwallet.com does a very good job tracking multiple accounts and balance changes.

I actually had not yet track my miles and points in one place. My friends seems use Yodlee and PageOne. This is good topic remind me to do some research and to decide use one of them.

I do use mint.com for finance part.

I was bored once and wrote an app to check my NW & Marriott balance. I thought about expanding it to track my other programs but then I lost interest. I read some of the T&Cs of the programs and apparently screen scraping goes against most programs T&Cs.

Yodlee works much better and is much prettier than my simple screen scraping app so I haven't explored it any further.

Can you add transactions/history to Yodlee manually in addition to the automated feeds it obtains?

How annoying is it that Pageonce doesn't support SSL for the main login page?

Considering that these guys have all of my passwords and use a password to login, you'd think they'd INSIST on SSL to login, but, instead, you can't even do it.

Guess I'll check out Yodlee again.

Can you add transactions/history to Yodlee manually in addition to the automated feeds it obtains? For financial accounts, yes. For rewards/FF accounts, no... at least, not yet. If you ask enough, they may add that feature. (Yodlee has a forum; their SVP of Product Development is also an FTer. :))
