Finnair Plus - OW 10th anniv - 5k points delay

There was a promo in the spring to fly on the same ticket with AY + 1 or more OW airline (but not HEL-BUD AY, BUD-HEL MA type) for 5000 extra points (once only). The points should've credited by 31 May - today AY+ informed me that there's a delay and by the end of June those points should post. They also confirmed that my HEL-FCO-AMM AY/RJ qualifies.

So if you were wondering where are those points, just be patient . :)

With a delay like that it sounds like the IT system is really crap and they are actually hiring some summer trainees to manually go through all accounts to look for suitable flights.

The 10k seems to be "goodwill 10k" for Golds & Plats. Just got an email from AY, saying

"10 000 ilmaista Plus-pistettä Finnair Plus Gold-jäsenille

Kesän kunniaksi palkitsemme kaikki Finnair Plus Gold -jäsenemme 10 000 Plus-pisteellä*. Pisteet on jo lisätty Finnair Plus -tilillesi."

(short translation: 10k for the summer)

I guess they wised up on offering 10k for new members just for signing up is bad PR towards elites who were to get zilch.
