Flying IAD-JFK-AUA. Priced dropped so now I have a credit with Jetblue. My wife and I will have two bags each. Can I use this credit to check the 2nd bag or does it have to be used for a future ticket?

JetBlue credits/vouchers are "air only" and can only be used for fare. They can't be used to pay fees at the ticket counter. aaron1262 Jun 1, 09, 2:17 am the answer is no. even if you could the ticket counter CSR are not trained to how to use/process vouchers anyway. so if you tried to buy a ticket at the airport and wanted to use a voucher you wouldn't be able to do it. Mr. Vker Jun 1, 09, 10:01 am No problem. I will use the credit for future travel. mia_marlin Jun 1, 09, 1:02 pm I have been able to do it, yet it wasn't worth the effort. YMMV on this. You may get lucky and have an agent who is willing to do it or call their help desk to do it. I had to wait in the line for ticketing instead of the baggage drop line and would not bother doing it again. They had to ask someone how to do it and ended up making a phone call. It is much easier to apply the credit when you ticket your next flight. |
