New here, and hope that someone will have some words of advice for me.
I booked a round-triip flight from Missouri to Paris for my wife to visit her family through the largest local travel agency (who we have delt with for . My wife leaves tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. I made if very clear that I was booking the flight for my wife, and they sent us an electronic ticket by mail.
We noticed this morning that the ticket is in my name and not my wifes.
After many calls, the travel agency says this:
They will give us an $875 credit for the $1200 original ticket, and want an additional $2674 for a new ticket in her name. They have already booked her in my original seats going and coming.
Does this sound cricket? It seems to me that they should replace the ticket. I'm not sure if we have any email corespondance or not, as my wife is a teacher and they are on her computer in her classroom which we are not able to get to at this time
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
We really cannot afford this.
Thanks,
