I am thinking of flying OZ oneway LAX-SIN.
I would like to take 3@32kg (*G Allowance), I know NH, UA, and TG permit this. Does OZ?
What if one of the items was in a box (Boxed Bike).
If I have a 10 hr transit window does Seoul have a tourist shuttle like Changi has? Do I need a visa to visit Korea (US Passport).
Thanks.

*G gives you one extra piece of luggage at whatever the maximum weight per piece is.
A quick look on their website will answer your question: http://au.flyasiana.com/Global/AU/en/homepage?fid=INFO11313
So in Economy the maximum weight per bag is 23kg, in business or first it is 32kg per bag.
In my experience a bike is usually fine even so it often is larger than the maximum permitted size. YMMV.
A quick use of the search function will bring up the threads dealing with the Seoul transit programs.

hmm, see this is why i asked, since the star gold rules say OZ *Gold can carry 3 @ 32. http://amrivlin.com/StarGold%20Baggage.png
Where can I check, because this will decide who I fly on.

It looks like the policy changed since the Star Employee guide that you quoted.
Various parts of the OZ website all refer to 23kg in Y and 32kg in F or C. *G only gives you an extra piece, so it will be 23kg x 3 as DownUnderFlyer indicated.

Thanks, I guess these things change constantly. the link was the 2008 guide.
I just looked at 2009's: (and that would mean OZ has changed already)
From p61 of The Ref Guide: (http://www.starallianceemployees.com/fileadmin/data/Reference_Guide/Ref_Guide_complete_final_30.04.pdf) (5mb)
2.1. Star Alliance Gold
BD, JK, JP, KF, NH, OS, OZ, SK, TP, UA 3 @ 158 cm (62 inches) 32 kg (70 pounds)
AC, CA, FM, LH, LO, LX, MS, NZ, OU, SA, SQ, TG, TK, US 3 @ 158 cm (62 inches) 23 kg (50 pounds)
I guess I'll just go with NH, wanted to experience a diff carrier, but I have to make the trip over and the company is not paying to move my items.
Thanks everyone.

Good luck going with NH. They also have changed their allowance to 23kg for Y.

Good luck going with NH. They also have changed their allowance to 23kg for Y.Can confirm this is now the case - just had a look at their current timetable and it's 32kg for F and C, but 23kg for Y.
However, it does say on the ANA website that NH*G gets 32kg x 3 in Y, so I don't know whether a non-NH *G will receive the same allowance.

My suspicion is that this is an error and NH*G will also only get 3*23kg. But maybe I check at the NH board now.

*1 When flying economy class, your baggage may need to be 23kg or less, depending on the Star Alliance member airline.
However, you are permitted to carry on 32kg on ANA Group flights (all 3 dimensions must be 158cm or less). (https://www.ana.co.jp/eng/amc/reference/elite/p_3.html#a02)
