Hello,
Last year I flew on over 60 flights for free because I worked for an airline.

Now, I am a first year (broke) college student and am trying to go to a music festival in Tennessee called Bonnaroo. It is an amazing experience with a huge variety of bands and I have been looking forward to it all year but now I can't find a ticket under $300.

Last year I really learned how to navigate (literally) around the world for free at my convenience, but I am really having trouble now that I have to pay for flights again.

My question is, does anyone have some suggestions for finding the cheapest fares possible?

I have to leave early on June 11th and come back on June 15th or 16th.

Any input would be much appreciated!

It would make life easier if you mentioned where you were departing from...;)

kayak.com is always good. Did you try SW as they fly into nashville now. The best I've found is to use travelocity and put in flexible dates but limit it till June. What they will do is give you a chart of the lowest fares for that time. You can then try to find the best one to book. I did this a few wks back and was surprised that flying to Calif on a wed was $50 less than the rest of the wk. You may find something similar. Also the discount carriers like sw don't always publish fares so you have to check individually.

southwest has a direct flight from oakland if you can get to oak by land... so if you are willing to get to oak or sfo so youll have more options and it costs a lil less...

Another problem you will have is that you are now under the 21 day deadline... so flights will be going up in cost.

If you are insistent in going, you had better book whatever you can soon... it will probably only get worse.

Hotwire is showing $383 right now.

Howwire is showing $308.90 roundtrip San Jose to Nashville. That could be an option.
