OTTAWA, May 28 (Reuters) - Analysts should not make too much of WestJet's (WJA.TO) delayed code-share agreement with U.S.-based Southwest Airlines (LUV.N), the chief executive of Canada's No. 2 carrier said on Thursday, as it can quickly strike deals with other airlines to help spark growth.

There is a story in the globe and mail about WestJet wanting to add 18 destinations in the USA and Carribean. Anyone care to speculate where they could add service?

Wow 70 airlines are interested in codeshares? That's great news!

There is a story in the globe and mail about WestJet wanting to add 18 destinations in the USA and Carribean. Anyone care to speculate where they could add service?

I've read Chicago-Midway and Denver would be hook ups for the Southwest alliance. I also personally predict Tucson will be a destination one day, based on the success of the PHX flights and the number of Canadian snowbirds living there.
