For those of you who missed it, the Bing blog on CNN recently contained a very unfalttering profile of a very rude gate agent at JFK named "Patrick".
Not the type of press any airline needs in these tight times.
Perhaps Jetblue could find "Patrick" at JFK and provide him some badly needed customer service training.

I *think* I know who this is.... Anyways, I'm glad you pointed out it is a gate agent, not a flight attendant as the author of the piece titled it. (He corrected himself in the comments field, but did not change the title)... Although this behavior is not acceptable, we cannot have 100% of our staff perfect. I hope this letter gets to his superior and the two can discuss it one on one and possible ways of handling the situation differently.
There is no absolute way of confirming this event but I do believe this occurred.

If this happened as written, and I'm inclined to believe it did, it is a total cop-out by Bing to refuse JetBlue's request for the date of the incident.
"Patrick" 's behavior was beyond rude and it should be addressed with him.
He has probably already written up the incident from his (slanted?!) viewpoint as evidenced by him getting your flight details.
If this was an isolated incident, it will be noted in his file, he'll be "counselled" and that's about it. He won't be fired unless this is the latest in a string of bad behaviors and he has not responded to previous counselling.
It cannot be addressed in anyway if details to positively identify him are not provided.
