So I'll be flying to GRB:

06/05/09 IND - DTW - GRB
06/08/09 GRB - DTW - IND

And will be going to the http://www.thunderonthelakeshore.com/events.html

On Monday 06/08/09 the entire day is open before my flight at 604p to bum around the Manitowoc / Green Bay / Appleton area.

I've never been north of MKE or east of Madison before so I'm looking forward to being in this area.

Good drives? Museums? Sights to see?

Thanks!

Kohler Design Center: http://www.destinationkohler.com/village/tours/design_center.html
but I'd save that for a weekend with your sig other at the American Club.

If me, I'd drive north into northern Door County (gills rock, washington island), beautiful area, quaint towns.
Not a busy time at all as kiddies are still in school so you should have the roads all to yourself.

There's a world class great lakes maritime museum in Manitowoc and a good Railroad museum in Green Bay....

as well as the Green Bay Packer Hall of fame and the title town brew pub in the old train station there

and lots of red barns and black and white cows.
