I've been trying to find a thread with this info, or even a few threads with the info broken up. I'm trying to figure out what various airlines offer to businesses as a benefit as using them as a preferred carrier. Some airlines make mention on their site, others don't. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

I work for a fairly large company and we made a deal with United. We have about 1,000 people traveling twice a month so they gave us the premier associate status. This allowed us to not have to pay for checked bag fees and to choose our seats (woo economy plus!). We also made deals with Hertz to get free #1 club gold.

The airlines are pretty stingy so for them to give business benefits you have to make it worth their wild. however if you have multiple employees traveling multiple times per month or work for a large reputable company there's a good chance they would be willing to make a deal.

Most airlines will offer negotiated contracts to companies with sufficient business. These contracts include ff status, airfare discounts, waivers on fees and advance purchase restrictions, clearing waitlists, opening blocked seats, upgrades, airport club memberships, and just about any perk you can imagine.

You have two ways to go. Contact the sales dept of the airline you are interested in or contact a major corporate travel agency in your area to help you. You can send me a PM if you would like more details.
