Diners Club Club Rewards - Fast Transfer - DC to AA

Yesterday I called and requested that miles be transferred to my American Airlines AAdvantage account. I was told it would take 2 days without special handling, i.e., without a rush charge. In fact, the miles appeared in my AA account today, just 24 hours after my request.

That's pretty much been my consistent experience with transfers.

I've done dozens of DC to AA redemptions thru the years, the vast majority have posted overnight - some late day redemptions have even posted in less than 12 hours - and none have taken more than 2 Business Days.

I thought I remembered something about 10 days and pay $35 if you need it faster. Was that for other carriers?
