Hertz - Poor hertz usa experience

Just had the misfortune to experience 2 hotel pickup rentals from hertz at marriotts in san francisco and san diego both were dirty unvaleted high mileage cheap alternatives to the ones shown online when pre paying and booking. I will never use Hertz in the US again No 1 gold means nothing there.
I also rented from 2 other companies that had clean low mileage cars and was offered a choice with both and had no status with either.

Airports have awful taxes, however you usually have a selection. where as hotels it is really hit and miss and they usually have junkers. Another nice thing about SAN and SFO is that they have gold boards and check-in ppl so it is faster.

I never rent from a hotel anymore as I was sick of getting the worst, oldest and least equipped vehicles!

Airports have the best vehicles but you pay more in taxes!

And the reply from hertz re my rentals..... Thank you for choosing hertz we take your views seriously and we look forward to serving you in the future... NOT A CHANCE. Should have learnt my lesson 5 years ago when I said no more.
