I have a very huge problem wich is very bad. My mother asked my father to book her a flight to London from Lithuania. He booked the flight by internet and i got a email wich was very long and i needed to print what was writtin in it, but the email accidentally deleted and im now very stressed searching for the answers. The problem is how to get back the email you got like the last one if anyone has any information i would be glad to hear it. Please help me, im very stressful atm.

Hi armis,

Take a deep breath and slow down ... let's be calm about this.

1. Did you check the recycle bin/trash can of your email program. Could the email still be in there?

2. Do you know which day your mom is supposed to fly? If so, you (although it will probably have to be her) can try to call the airline and get the booking reference code. From there, you will be able to check the flight details on the Internet.

Cheers,

Does your email have a TRASH folder that stores the deleted emails for XX number of days? Most do.

Welcome to FlyerTalk armis !

Since this isn't really a BT kind of post, I'm moving it to Travel Technology forum.

That said, you did a no - no, and cross posted your query in two different forums, so you may find that a moderator may lock one of the threads.

And as sobore pointed out, the first obvious thing is to check the Trash folder of your email - that is where deleted items generally go, and even Yahoo mail will keep it there for a while before deleting it permanently.

Armis, there is nothing to panic about as, even if you don't find the e-mail, you'll still be able to phone the airline and they will give you your booking reference and the flight details.

It is extemely unlikely that you will need to show anyone the printed e-mail and, even if it's needed, you can tell the checkin staff that you deleted it and they will still be able to check your mother in for her flight.

So please don't panic!

Your credit card company will have a record of the transaction. Call them and get the details on the transaction including the ticket number, then call the selling company to resend info to you.

Depending on your ISP and your e-mail settings, it may still be on your ISP's server. You can normally log into your e-mail on the ISP'S site via a Web browser. It may still be in your in-box or in your trash folder there. This should be so easy to do that I'd try it before trying to get the information another way.

Failing that, most ISPs can retrieve deleted e-mails for 30 or so days back. You'll have to call their tech support, but they can almost certainly do it.

If using Outlook Express check Deleted Items folder.

armis, a few questions:

- What email program do you use (or do you use webmail?)
- What is the airline?
- Did you book direct or through a third-party site?
- What do you remember about the flight you booked? (Time? Flight number?)

You WILL be able to retrieve the information even if you can't retrieve the original email, so don't panic - but if we have a little bit more information we can probably give you better advice.

I use an www.one.lt Email but the site is with people meeting others something like facebook.com , the email from www.one.lt doesn't have a deleted emails section (and now the important part) My mother askes my father's brothers wife to book her a plane ticket to London from Lithuania , she booked it i think from 2-3 weeks ago about 6H GMT+2 my mother asked to book it from www.ryanair.com , so that means its from Ryanair and my mothers flight is on 09-06-04 that means 8 days left to get back the email.. P.S My internet contract will be gone in 4 days i have not much time left !!

Hi there. Call Ryanair reservations directly and they can give you the flight details and how to proceed.

Ryanair reservations line: +353 1 2480856

other Ryanair reservations numbers by country: http://www.ryanair.com/site/EN/faqs.php?sect=CONTACT&div=call_ctr

Don't panic... if the credit card transaction was successful, she's fine. Call the number, they'll help you out.

As others have said, this is not a problem--just a slight inconvenience.

As antlass has suggested, you can call Ryanair.

You can also pull up your reservation on the Ryanair website, provided you know the e-mail address used during the reservation, the date of travel, and the departure and arrival airport.

Go here: https://www.bookryanair.com/SkySales/FRManageBooking.aspx?culture=EN-GB&lc=EN-GB
Pick Option 3.
Enter the information.
Select "View My Booking"
Click on "Select and Continue
