Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Has anyone done a DPS turnaround with CX?

Hi,

Does anyone know if CX is able to print both the outbound and inbound boarding passes for a DPS same day turnaround like they can for Taipei and Manila?

I assume there is no international transit at DPS and one would have to exit the arrival area, get the boarding pass from the counter and go back in?

Thanks.

They can. Note that there is visa on arrival for most nationalities, which can mean some time to get through immigration.

I've done it before a few years back. I told them onboard and they got someone to meet me upon landing. Took me back to the departure area without having to go through immigration and back in.

That was a few years ago. Most recently, you will have to pay the departure tax if you're returning on the same aircraft. Airline under strict instructions to not let you have boarding pass until they see that you have paid tax.

If you fly in on one flight and out another, then you don't have to pay the tax. You may avoid the visa fee, but not the tax.

I did it on a LH turnaround from Singapore and LH told me about this.

But how can you fly to Bali and not spend some time there? Really... :)
