Virgin Atlantic Flying Club - Left luggage area at LHR?

Howdy all,

I am using some of my CO miles for a possible first-ever and much anticipated VS UC experience SFO-LHR-DEL, and since there is a great layover at LHR, I would like to jump into the city and see swinging London for the day whilst I wait for my connection to DEL. However, I heard that the clubhouse at LHR does not have a secure left luggage area....true? if so, than is there any other place around where I coud stash my bags for 10-15 hours?

There is left luggage at T3. BAA web site.

There are left baggage offices in each terminal at Heathrow. Baggage and luggage items can be stored for a few hours or up to 90 days. All items are security checked.

Charges are £8 per item per 24 hours (or part thereof).

Competitive unaccompanied baggage rates and services are available, and you can also buy luggage and travel accessories.

Left baggage office locations

Terminal 1: Arrivals concourse, next to the lifts for Heathrow Express. Open 06:00 - 23:00.

Terminal 2: Near the Lufthansa check-in desk. Open 05:30 - 23:00.

Terminal 3: Departures, check-in zone C, opposite Turkish Airlines, open 06:00 - 22:00. Arrivals hall, near car hire desks, open 05:00 - 23:00.

Terminal 4: West end of the arrivals hall. Open 05:30 - 23:00.

Terminal 5: Arrivals concourse, UK arrivals end. Open 05:30 - 23:00.

As you will need to clear immigration and customs to make your day trip to London, you'll exit the terminal in any case and the VS Clubhouse is back through security after check in.

Use left luggage but also leave plenty of time in the Clubhouse on your return, you'll enjoy it ^.
