I just renewed my domain for five years, since my registrar was running a special. I was just wondering, is there a limit to how far into the future a domain may be renewed?

With GTLD domains (com/net/org etc) it's ten years.
With ccTLD domains (cc = country code) every registry sets its own limits. .uk domains can only be renewed for two years at a time at the moment, but I gather this is about to change.
