Just wondered if anyone knew of a way to use my reservation code (MFJD3A) to check the status of my reservation online?
The booking was made directly through Alitalia.com, but I am uncertain about its status because I got a message saying that (although the reservation has been made) there were technical problems. I called Alitalia in Rome, found out it was an issue of credit card authorisation, gave my credit card details again and they said they are working on it.
Is there anyway for me to check online to see if these have been resolved? Or even just to check that my reservation is still there? Obviously, I'd rather not have to keep calling Alitalia to monitor its progress.
When I also called Alitalia's local GSA in Hong Kong (where I live), they could see the reservation in their computer system (even though it had been via Alitalia.com), which makes me think it should be possible to access the reservation online? But I have no idea where? Have tried checkmytrip.com but that didn't work. Any suggestions gratefully appreciated?
