Asiana Club - How to book Asiana flight without joining Asiana Club?

Hi All,

First-time poster here!

I'm trying to book a one-way flight from Seoul (ICN) to Hong Kong on Asiana. However, I can't seem to proceed with the online booking process unless I join Asiana Club, which I don't want to do since I am a Mileage Plus member. I would like these miles to go to Mileage Plus, instead of Asiana Club.

Is there any way to book my ticket online without joining Asiana Club? If not, would I be able to change my miles allocation at check-in so that the miles go to my Mileage Plus account instead of my newly registered Asiana Club account?

Thanks for your patience and help in advance!

Do you have an aversion to "3rd party" booking sites?

Two flights a day come up on Expedia... for $396 (in August for example...)0905 and 1945 departures..

On that site you can put in any FF program # you like...

Thanks, all--I would indeed prefer to avoid 3rd party booking sites so that I don't have to pay their excess fees. Looks like I will just change my number at check-in, then!

For OZ tickets ex ICN, certain local travel agents can almost always beat OZ online prices, sometimes by a fairly significant amount. Though if you're not in Korea, the hassle of trying to deal with a local travel agent for a one-off purchase is probably not worthwhile.

On top of that, round-trip ticket is usually cheaper than one-way for this kind of tourist-dependent routes.
