Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - LHR T3 CX J Lounge vs BA Galleries

Gonna do another LHR-HKG on CX metal pretty soon.
Has anyone tried out the new BA Galleries lounge in T3? How does it compare with CX's J lounge?

Which flight are you on? I was at T3 a couple of days ago and tried to access the Galleries at about 2030, but was told it was already closed.

I will be on 252 and hopefully the T3 Galleries will be open.
I have been to Galleries Club in T5 and was impressed with the quality of the decor and the food. (and in my opinion far superior than CX's J lounge in LHR!)

Can you get Chinese style food at the BA Galleries? ;)

The dim sum at the CX lounge are tasteless - I much prefer bacon butties in the Galleries. ;)

And Yes the Gallery lounge was open... and it is way better than the CX J or even F facilities at LHR... in fact the HK CX lounges are starting to look dated compared to the new lounges around the world...

anyone know the opening/closing times as of now for the BA loungs in T3 ? Am on the 254 this week and would like to check it out if its open.....

Both - function and size - there are plenty of PC's there - there is even a Kids area & a wine bar... and the deco is a lot more modern than the CX lounges which still look good but deco is out of style now...

Plus they actually have some food (though i didn't eat any) - which the CX F lounge doesn't even do (can't count CUP noodles as food nor the most tasteless risotto on the planet)...
