Budget Travel - Eze to NYC

Does anybody have any good ideas about a tricky way to go from Buenos Aires to ANY new york airport for cheap? I was thinking about going through mexico, since prices might be lower due to the swine flu scare. I found a $170 flight from Cancun to JFK (via FLL), but the flights from EZE to CUN are still very expensive. Anybody have any other ideas? I have no problem with lots of layovers, i just gotta get there cheap!
