Hertz - Deal on a Prestige or Fun collection auto in CA

My husband and I are going to California wine country Thu. June 4-7. We are flying into and out of Oakland airport. We wanted to rent a car from the Hertz Prestige or Fun collection. Maybe a corvette, mustang convertible, or an Infiniti M35. I'm getting rates from about $600 total for those cars without any coupon codes or discounts. We are Costco members, which is an additional 5% I believe. Both of our parents are AAA members as well. Any idea as to how to secure a better rate on these "special" cars?

Avis might have some vettes , Dollar in SF had some Corvettes last time i checked.....

I'd try this Rate code : HPC1 for Prestige and HFC1 for Fun. they were suppose to be expired but they still seem to work in California and Florida as I've used it recently for some Infiniti Rentals.

HPC1 doesn't seem to be working in CA anymore. There was always an exclusion in the T&C, but always seemed to work. Anyone had any luck on this? trying to book out of SFO for the week....

I'm the professor when it comes to using this code in California and it's funny because it works in some locations but not all. I have a reservation for THIS saturday at LAX and it works. I've used it at LGB and it works. I can confirm that SNA and SAN do not work. I have never traveled used it at SFO or OAK so I don't know if it works there.
