I would welcome any information for reduced award travel on either Delta, Continental, US Airways, or any airline partnered with AMEX Membership Rewards.

Here is the info I received in the mail today with my latest AMEX statement. Travel to either Japan or Hong Kong for 30,000 Continental OnePass miles (50% reduction from the normal 60,000 )

Terms: Travel between April 1 - May 30, Restricted to certain Continental flight numbers (I do not have the statment in front of me but all of the flight numbers were between 1 and 10).

This is a great deal. Anybody have more information about it. It's not on Continental's website.

Leiterk -

I would call Continental. They seem to be aware of the promotion. It is really a Continental promotion. Let me know if you need any additional information.

Wow, is this targeted? I have tons of delta miles, is there a way I can convert this to continental miles to take advantage of this promotion? Or just use delta skymiles for it since they are part of the alliance?

To the best of my knowledge it is not targeted. I do not believe you would be able to use Delta Skymiles because the flight numbers applicable to this promotion are all Continental's, not Delta codeshare flight numbers. Do you have any AMEX membership rewards that you can transfer to your OnePass account? That is how I originally found out about this offer, in my AMEX statement.

No, unfortunately only AMEX I have is Delta Skymiles Card. I'm looking to try to take advantage of this deal since I have to book a ticket to HKG for mid April. Think there's a quick and point saving way to convert to Continental to take advantage of this? Much appreciated!

Do you have 30,000 miles in your Continental OnePass account? If you do, then no need to involve AMEX. This is really a Continental promotion that was announced in my AMEX statement. If you have the miles, call Continental directly to book your trip. Good luck!

I'm sorry, I must very confusing and confused at the same time. I don't have a AMEX rewards card nor any Continental miles at all. All I have are tons of Delta miles and would like to know if I can convert somehow to Continental miles via transfering in some way. How? And will it be instant? Or at least quick enough to take advantage of this great deal?

If you have 5K blocks of Amtrak miles, you can convert them to CO OP miles.

If you have a Citibank AAdvantage MC you can get reduced awards to various destinations. The destinations change per quarter and the savings range from 5000-7500 miles.
