Other Middle East and Africa Frequent Flyer Programs - MS schedule changes to PEK (now direct)

Hi all

I don't remember seeing this anywhere but Egyptair now flies Cairo-Beijing non-stop rather than via BKK.

Service is operated by a 330.

Service to Guangzhou is still via BKK on a 777, looks like there is one extra service a week now.

I mention this as it was a good F class fare ex BKK to both CAN and PEK sadly one of which has now gone. (I was wanting to book it this week in fact for travel in July.)

Too bad they no longer have flights from BKK to PEK. Being based in BKK, I was hoping to fly MS to PEK sometime soon.

don't think they had 5th freedom on BKK-PEK though.

EgyptAir had 5th freedom rights on BKK-PEK-BKK (like BKK-CAN-BKK currently).

PEK is now 3x weekly non-stop with A330-200. The aircraft remains on the ground in PEK for almost 12 hours to enhance connectivity at it's developing CAI hub.
