The Caribbean - Last Minute Travel

My wife and I are considering going to Sandals Whitehouse on Wednesday for four nights. Do the resorts have any pull with the airlines to get better fares? Right now the trip from NC (RDU, GSO or CLT) is more than the four nights at the resort.

Is it even worth calling Sandals booking?

Sandals has a good reputation for negotiating deals with Airlines. I have seen numerous AA and Air Jamaica promos (but then again I pay attention to these airlines). I would highly recommend that you make the call, what's the worst that can happen.
