JetBlue TrueBlue - Went to JFK new terminal 5 by last Friday (photos)

You guys hasn't see more photos from JetBlue new terminal 5 at JFK. I visit to see new JetBlue terminal 5. It was absolutely wonderful. I am never seen it before. I took on AirTrain from DL terminal 3. I came into JFK around 10am last Friday morning. I have a long layover for in between 6 or 7 hours in JFK. I am really enjoyable where I visit at JFK new terminal 5 but, I didn't have chance go downstairs to see new baggage claim. As you can see very huge more ticket counter space & kiosks check-in counter, Full Service and bag drop right front of the ticket counter. I smell the fresh air is so gorgeous.

As you can see the passengers is walking at conveyer belt. Where the bags is drop it off behind the ticket counter. B6 ticket agents is no longer needing to take the bags into the conveyer belt. The customers will take the bags over there at conveyer belt. The bags where can go through CTX-9000 inline baggage screening system. I realize that I saw lof of the passengers at security checkpoint and it was very huge more than 20 security checkpoint lanes. I am never see it before. I went back to the AirTrain where I walk onto moving sidewalk. There is three moving sidewalk. It was very long walk from terminal 5 all the way to AirTrain. As you can see where old terminal 6 will be demolished. Pretty soon, Port Authority will decide to begin constructions brand new terminal 6 sometime in the future. if VX will have particular under consideration into new terminal 6. What about foreign airlines will be in new terminal 6. It need to being built CBP facilities at new terminal 6 if necessary. It would be easier for some USA airlines will clearance Customs & immigrations in terminal 6. So here some of good pictures brand new terminal 5 from last Friday:

I agree that the 20 security checkpoint lanes are great....but only if the damn lanes are open. Was there this past friday for a 8AM flight and only 12 lanes were open. LIne took almost 35 min.

Thanks for the pictures. Looks nice and placid on a normal ops, low-traffic day. I wonder how it will work next time there's a peak-traffic winter weather meltdown.
