Air New Zealand Air Points - How many points do I get for this flight?

Hello, I can't find it on NZ's website therefore I need some help, please!
I bought a frist class ticket with Shanghai Airline( FM) from XIY-PVG and the sub-class is A, doesn't anyone know many points do I get for NZ's membership? Is it 60? :confused:

it's within an international zone, and less than 2000km. A = First, so yes, 60 :)

Can't always assume that First Class earns at First Class level as I have run into a similar situation before, eg. O class on US Airways First Class earns at Full Economy only.

Actually, you're right Xiaotung. According to the Airpoints T&C's, A class on Shanghai is not eligble to earn any Airpoints Dollars. :(

Is it just me or has the non-earning booking class list been expanded somewhat for several airlines? I don't think there are as many non-earning booking classes crediting to other FFPs - :td: NZ :mad:

Then again you can't really rely on the T&C either. There was once Singapore Airlines' R class which is the First Class Suite listed as non-eligible until I addressed this with them (or at least I think it was me).

The official answer is "you will not earn points". However, ultimately it is at air nz's discretion so they may award the points anyway. You'd be better off crediting to another program, probably.

Or phone and find the credit admin person at Air NZ who knows where to look on the KoruNet.

Thanks for your help! I have called Air NZ and I was told FM's A class is a discount 1st class therefore I don't earn any points. I'm going to pay the difference to upgrade to F class then change the flight to Air China has a batter arrive time at PVG. Shame!!! With AC I can earn 150% of the total points. Nevermind.
