Along with my fellow PAX in J on a BNE-MEL flight on Friday evening, we were all pleasantly surprised with the high quality of one of the dinner selections.
It was a Chicken Salad, with Baby Spinach leaves, pine nuts, roasted pumpkin, feta and preserved lemon.
Chicken breast was moist, well cooked and seasoned, pumpkin was tender with slight caramelisation, leaves were fresh and the pine nuts, lemon and feta were excellent compliments. Two people even ventured for seconds.
A pleasant change from the typical drab fare offered on internal flights.
