Qantas Frequent Flyer - Any Changes to Mumbai Flights?

Looking at SYD-BOM-SYD schedules on Qantas and other travel websites, I noticed that for the BOM-SYD segment in June, Qantas only shows routing via SIN (being BOM-SIN-SYD, or BOM-SIN-BNE-SYD). QF124 - the BOM-SYD non stop is not showing up anymore.
Is this flight being canned past 31st May? The Airbus A330-300 config page on Qantas website shows the aircraft operating flights to Bombay "till 31st May" and on the same page has QF51/52 operating BNE-SIN-BOM-SIN-BNE from 1 June onwards.
Can any of the regulars/insiders shed some light on this? On my upcoming trip to BOM, I was tempted to fly the non stop both ways (great arrival/departure times at both the airports) but if I have to change flights at Singapore, I'd be tempted to stick to SQ or even try CX via HKG.
Cheers

As noted in some other threads (e.g http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/qantas-frequent-flyer/922428-qantas-route-changes-product-update-73h-w-ptvs.html, point 11), the non-stop service is ceasing as part of more general service reductions.

It seems that you have answered your own question. The timetable shows QF51 serving BOM via SIN
The CX timing ex-BOM on the way back looks pretty yucky with a departure at 03:20 and then a 7 hour connection at HKG

Interesting that a BNE flight is continuing on to BOM than the SYD-BOM-SYD flight stopping at SIN to allow pax form BNE, MEL, PER connect to it. Does QF see majority of the pax on its BOM-SYD flight continue to BNE?

True. The timings aren't the best. IMHO, the best timed flight out of BOM to SYD would be the 1140 SQ departure that connects in SIN to an 2000 hrs and 0030 hrs SQ departure to SYD.
However, I think I might be tempted to fly via HKG to try out the new Y on CX. 7 Hour transit shouldn't be too bad when its a place I haven't been to before and from what I've read, compares with Changi.

By doing it this way , the number of flights to SIN stays the same. QF51 already flies to SIN. The ex-SYD flights continue on to FRA or LHR so couldnt do the BOM sector
It is easy to connect from the SYD-SIN flight to connect to the BOM service

Spending 7 hours in an airport sounds hellish to me. I would consider staying overnight in Hong Kong and continuing on the next morning to Australia
