Other Car Rental Programs/Partners (ie. Alamo, Enterprise, Sixt) - What's the highest mileage car Enterprise has given you?

We have a similar thread for almost all the other companies, so why not for Enterprise? I've had some pretty beat-up stuff from them a few times I rented relatively recently.

The latest, this past weekend: from a neighborhood branch, 2007 (yes, 2007) Dodge Grand Caravan with 38K miles. When I saw the van parked outside, I originally mistook it for someone's private car. The fading paint, dented side panel, and smudgy brake dust on the wheels made it look like a 60K mi+ car. There were many interior stains, but the agent said not to worry about it because they don't care about the interior. (???)

Last year I rented a Chevrolet Silverado with 28K mi from the same office. But their economy cars were usually nearly new, as in only 96 miles at check in. Those cars seemed almost too nice to drive.

Just rented a Yaris from a Montreal neighbourhood location with nearly 40k on the clock. They said they are keeping cars a little longer now because of the recession and also because they are not getting particularly good deals from the motor manufacturers on new stock.

The Yaris was definitely showing its age...I'd ask for a better vehicle next time.

Enterprise has always held onto their cars longer than most of the other agencies. I've had several cars in the past few years with 40-45k on them. Most memorable was a Stratus I picked up in BGR with 40k on it. There was plenty of dirt ground into the carpets, and the rotors were so badly warped I had to work to keep my foot from bouncing of the brake pedal.

I put in ten months working for Enterprise in the Management Training program and in my time there the oldest I saw was a 2006 Ford Freestar minivan with 42,000 on it. I do know that when I quit because of Enterprise's troubles they had adopted a new policy where they held on to cars longer that didn't sell well and sold off ones that did with fewer miles to turn more of a profit on the car sales side.

I remember on another similar forum an Avis agent said that last fall, many rental cars did not sell at auction due to the credit situation and were returned to service. I was thinking exactly that after I saw the left side of the minivan's windshield. There was vertical chalk writing that said,
"2007, 38k mi" like what you might see written on cars at an auction or dealer lot.
