Starwood Preferred Guest - Email From Hotel Regarding Free Weekend Promo

I got an email today from a "Senior Business Transient Sales Manager" of a *wood property I've stayed at a few times (probably 4 or 5 I'd guess)

Anyone else get one of these? Thought it was kind of odd and I do hope I don't get one from EVERY *wood I've stayed at cause that'd be kind of over the top.

Yes, I get reminders like these from properties that I am a 'regular' at. It is by no means uniform or all the time but they do reach out to me on an occasional basis.


Also, you probably could send a quick email to the property asking to be removed from their distribution list if you don't want things like this.

The e-mail makes reference to "every two stays during the week....to automatically win a free weekend night."

While weekday rates may be more expensive and desireable to the property, any 2 stays will qualify under the promo, right? I didn't notice any requirement for weekday stays.
