We're headed to Cooperstown this weekend. My wife has a conference there and my brother and I are going to check out the HOF. We're flying into Buffalo and then driving to Cooperstown. I have to drive my brother over to Albany so he can fly home early, but my wife and I are going back to Niagara Falls for a couple of days before flying back out of Buffalo to go home.
Any suggestions on good places to eat in any of those cities, or somewhere along the way?
Also, anyone know what the speed limit is on the thruway and how strict law enforcement is along that stretch?

Speed limit on I-90 is 65mph, with the exception of some segments immediately around Rochester and Syracuse at 55. Enforcement is pretty strict in my experience, with anything over 74(i.e. >9 mph over) certain to get you stopped (although of course YMMV)

Sorry for the delay in responding, as you've probably figured out by now that when you're in the Niagara Falls area you want to generally stay on the Canadian side of the border. Hope you had a good trip!

If you feel like making a detour through Rochester, you can hit DiBella's subs in Henrietta and other area locations, which puts together some of the best sandwiches I've ever had; Dinosaur BBQ downtown; Country Sweet Chicken & Ribs, which specializes in a kind of sweet wings that I think is unique to the area; and the Rochester Public Market is also worth a stop. Abbott's Custard (multiple locations) is a nice local treat, and I've always been a sucker for the burgers at Tom Wahl's, another local chain.
In Buffalo, I remember Duff's (near SUNY Buffalo) and Anchor Bar being the best place for wings and beef of wick (a roast beef au jus sandwich on kimmelwick bun) being the most underrated local treat.
