I have recently booked two award reservations--the first cost 360,000 miles and the second cost 90,000 miles. While working out details with the airline agents (for two separate airlines) they both referred to the tickets as FREE--as in somehow having less value to them because they were FREE.
I find this mildly annoying. Do they not know what it takes to get 450,000 miles to SPEND?
