Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - CX F Wing Lounge Wi-Fi - Head to Business Lounge

I have always noticed that the Wi-Fi signal in the First Class Lounge was not very good. The best reception is in the food area. If you want a good connection then you have to go to the Business Class Lounge. Perhaps CX could provide First Class Wi-Fi.

completely agree...I almost never got it to work that probably (esp when I really need to receive/send some files). I now almost always use my mobile broadband instead, much faster...(and before I get this, I used the free PCCW wifi, usually worked ok too).

Yes, after getting on for a while, the Cathay WiFi can get disconnected and my notebook switches to the PCCW WiFi. It is annoying.

I never seem to have a problem eating in the F area and using the wifi at the same time.

the PCCW wifi is free anyways and the signal is much better...... so usually I would use that instead of the Cathay one

Maybe a lot of people were connected to your particular wireless router? I've never had a problem with the wifi in The Wing F section, at least in the main seating area (not in The Haven).

Weird that there is no power point in The Library. Also it's hard to get signal deep in The Library.

Perhaps CX is trying to tacitly discourage the use of electronics in The Library? ;)

I think the wireless router is physically placed at the far end of the customer service counter in Biz Class Lounge.

I was trying to get a signal in the downstairs lounge of the wing, it does not work at all for any signals.

I have always had intermittent disconnects when in the F section. A few days ago I had to download some files which is when I went to the Business section. The download rate was 10-20 times as fast and the connection solid. CX needs to improve the F class signal.
