Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - lack of incentives/recognition for Frequent flyers

Even in this current environment, there seems to be still a lack of incentives to encourage those who are still flying very regularly (especially in J class) to fly CX where possible. I've written to CX a few times to enquire as to whether it's worthwhile flying beyond the 120k required to renew my Diamond membership (other than trying to attain DMP) and got some standard "thanks for your continued loyalty" letter.

I would've thought there aren't a huge number of flyers who can regularly attain 120k miles in a couple of months hence CX could easily target these flyers with special incentives or recognition in these difficult times.

They could also target the dormant Gold/Diamond members in case some have switched over to other airlines (like I have) to entice them back to giving CX another chance.

Maybe they are already doing this but I'm not included?

I have been doing this for a while already...only getting enough to 120k, then credit the rest to AAdv to get 100% bonus (and no expiry of miles, but well, there's of course some bankruptcy risk though), or fly Star to get a better SQ J seat, LH M&M's 200/300% miles for J/F, etc...
