Hertz - Suggestion for Hertz (and some other rental car companies)

This applies to several rental car companies, but I'm not going to cross-post it in more than one forum, and Hertz is my primary rental car company (though I spread my business around).

Anyway, I just sent them the following comment:

I just wanted to suggest a functionality that Avis and Budget both have that I think is very useful and I would strongly encourage you to duplicate, at the conclusion of each rental they send an email with a copy of the receipt in pdf format. This is very useful for me in completing my expense reports. With Hertz I do come to the website and create a pdf of the receipt from the past receipts on the Hertz website, but it is much less convenient than the Avis/Budget system of emailing a pdf receipt.

I sent similar letters to Alamo and National, though interestingly they now send a short "Thank You" email after every rental, but other than the Thank You there is no real information, so all they need to do is attach the receipt to the email they already send.

Anyway, if anyone else thinks this is useful functionality I just wanted to encourage you to send a short note to the rental agency/agencies of your choice to encourage them to add this functionality. I figure if they get the same comment from several different folks it may not get lost as easily.

Agree it would be useuful for Hertz to do it, or at least let me opt-in for it.

National sends me an email, but it does not include a receipt, though I haven't used them in a month or so. Alamo's emails (which I believe is the same system National uses) do not include a receipt that I've noticed, but I'll have to watch more closely to make sure.
