I would also be interested/consider the Wynn as well.

PM me with your email address and I'll send you one.

All the promo I've seen appear to have 2 night minimums. Hotwire is selling a lot of mid week Wynn rooms for ~$108.

On hotwire, is there a way to tell which hotel it is before you book?

If you are AMEX Plat, just call FHR and take advantage of the discounts/benefits they can give you.

It shows up as 5 Star hotel central strip.

The difference between it and the Venetian is when you click the compare icon for it, the next page has:

Trip Advisor

Traveler rating

4.0 out of 5 Based on 1640+ customer reviews (Last reviewed April 2009)

In the bottom right corner (Venetian has more customer reviews), and I believe it shows the Suite icon in the full list.

Go to betterbidding.com for more info.

Per the biddingfortravel notes for LV... There's one trick to identify Trump towers which shows as a 5* with no casino icon and a non-smoking icon.

I assume you meant betterbidding and not biddingfortravel?

Also Trump is very easy to identify, it is listed as a 5* Condo not a hotel, it does not have a golf or casino icon but does have a condo and non-smoking icon.

The 2 that are often very similar are Wynn and Venetian. If you only want one of these, but not the other you need to be more careful.

Might want to try promo code MJJASV for $119/night rooms. You can book either Wynn or Encore and when I booked a few nights ago for end of July both Wynn and Encore were both $119/night so I went for Encore :)

Try MJJAS15.
It'll do $109 for encore or wynn.

Thanks for the heads up - that promo only begins May 25 and has a two night minimum. Maybe I will take advantage of it for the the summer.

Any for May 21 - one night?

If you are AMEX Plat, just call FHR and take advantage of the discounts/benefits they can give you.

I tried that for my recent trip to Encore. FHR rate was WAAAY more than what I could get direct through the hotel as a mid-level gambler. The FHR benefits would have made up some, but nowhere near all, of the additional cost.

FHR/virtuoso are 10% off published (not promo) rate, but that can still be quite low. you also get upgrade if available. (within resort / tower, but not between.) encore tower - tower > parlor is pretty valuable for example. (no exec like wynn tower.)

N.B. Don't attempt to get Wynn/Encore/Venetian on Priceline Name Your Own Price. Although all of the above hotels are normally empty midweek and would be glad to have you for $99, as far as PL goes the zone is "poisoned" in that you might get the Trump Tower.

Better to use Hotwire in this case...

Use hotwire and make sure it indicates that the property has a casino. Trump has no casino.
