Did a search but only found info/recommendations on home loans and re-fi's
Has anyone had any experience using one of the miles-for-realtor services from any of the airlines (Hilton has one too) when selling a home?

AC's Aeroplan has a service for selling and buying homes.
It is run by a company called All Purpose Realty. They "refer" the buyer/seller to a designated realtor in your locale, the realtor pays a referral fee (usually 25%) of the commission to All Purpose Realty. The service is free to you the customer, free as in you do not pay any extra commission or fees. For more info on this scheme, go to
www.aeroplan.com (http://www.aeroplan.com)
The realtors' that are used by All Purpose realty do not have to meet any particular standards beyond the average in the industry.
As to home loans and re-fi's, I would find a good mortgage broker and negotiate the best deal you can get. I think if you re-fi or borrow based solely on FFP points/miles, you will pay a premium in rate terms and conditions on the mortgage.
I write this as an ex-realtor who participated in the realty/points referral program, and someone who owns a mortgage brokerage firm.
IMHO, I think you are best off, asking your friends/colleagues for a good reference for both a realtor and a mortgage broker, or as a friend of mine called/calls me, land pimp and money pimp http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

pgary, yes I should have in fact mentioned that that is where I found the compilation of such programs.
What I'm hoping for is some testimony, good or ill, for someone who has used one of these services.
I'm looking to buy and sell at the moment.
I'm not far along in the process to help you out, but I filled out info on both the Cendant/AA offer for a real estate agent referral and for the United/Lending Tree offer. So far I'm indifferent between the two folks I'm been referred to, both are fine, we'll see how things shake out.
But I don't yet have info on how miles post, etc.

I found out after I'd already been contacted by their lenders with offers that Lending Tree is (was?*) a UA Mileage Plus partner.
I begged them to add UA affiliation to my record. They did, and I was 108,000 miles richer! If you like the options Lending Tree gives you, why not benefit from the miles, too?
*I say "was" because I'm not sure this program is still in existence.
