Swiss International Airlines - JNB-ZRH cancellations in late August

My flight on August 26th has been canceled. I called LX and the agent wasn't sure of the reason why. I checked the LX timetable online and LX289 shows as a daily flight from March-October 2009. Does anyone know any more about the reason for the cancellation?

Unfortunately the capacity to JNB has been reduced to currently 6 flights weekly. However, LX was supposed to get back to daily operation as of July 09 :confused:.

At least until october we will see reduced capacity to all long haul flights that can only be operated by A343's due to the distance eg JNB or BKK as one of the 15 A343's was taken out of service till octover due to the reduced capacity.

Somebody has an idea on the LX yield on the route to JNB???

I am currently using TK to JNB for the service and food (which I strongly recommend) and also because with an average of 150 passengers in a A330 you feel like a king even in Y class where you can take 4 seats for yourself.
So, I'm using TK and likely I will continue but remain the question if the LX flights there are also quiet and comfortable as those of TK or busy and noisy like those of AF/KL and, worse, BA.
