I was wondering if there was any way to fly from the BVI (EIS on Tortola) to Cuba. I've looked into airlines like LIAT and Cape Air, but it doesn't seem like there is any easy way to island hop to Cuba. I'd like the trip to be relatively short and so am asking the community here if you've got any insight on how to make the trip possible.
Thanks for any help you can provide!
None of the airlines who serve EIS also serve HAV (well, American Eagle, but you'd need permission in advance and you'd have to board in MIA).
You'd have to charter a non US based company to do it. And since you're flying from the Eastern Caribbean to the Western Caribbean, it'd be a very expensive charter. For example when I charter a BN Islander from San Juan to Virgin Gorda (barely 100 miles away) that costs me over $3000 round trip. Imagine the costs for the 1200 mile trip from Road Town to Havana.
Your best bet would be: American Eagle, EIS-SJU-SDQ, once in SDQ switch to Cubana or if you must avoid US soil, Liat would be EIS-SXM-ANU-SDQ, and once in SDQ, you'd switch to Cubana.
But that's really a pain.

Bummer. That does sound like a major pain. I was hoping to hop over there after a 2 week bareboat trip in the BVI. Maybe I'll have to settle for the Dominican Republic from San Juan.
Thanks very much for your help.
