Yeah I tried this after I got the email from DirecTV and the 10% off "promo fare" came back as the exact same price as the regular discounted fare when I didn't enter a code.

Yeah I tried this after I got the email from DirecTV and the 10% off "promo fare" came back as the exact same price as the regular discounted fare when I didn't enter a code.

When you first enter the code, it will show you the exact same fares but it will tell you if they are promo eligible by tagging them "*PROMO". Once you select the flights, the discounted fares will be reflected on the next page for all promo eligible dates. It definitely works.
