South - SAV Amtrak station and renting a car

I'm doing the train into the Savannah train station this summer and will need to rent a car. As far as I can tell, I need to pick up the car from the airport. Is that right? Are cabs usually hanging out by the train station? How much should it cost? (My train arrives around 7:00 am on a Sunday...there will be 4 of us including luggage.)
