Asiana Club - Best Priority Pass Lounge Choice at ICN

Next week I'm traveling through ICN on KE (LAX-ICN-PVG), arriving on the 5AM flight. Any recommendations on the best lounge to pass four hours in? My interests: showers, quiet atmosphere, and decent catering. I believe that I have a choice of the OZ, KE, Hub, and Matina lounges.

PS - I'm posting this in the OZ forum as it seems a lot livelier than the KE forum

Since you're on KE, you'll be in the main terminal. I love the Asiana Lounge there. It's always seemed to me to be more relaxing, darker wood tones, etc. Korean's lounge is great too, but a lot brighter and (in my experience) busier...... Both would be fine on the catering and showers....... Enjoy the lounge! :)

Do you even have access to the KE lounges with a Priority Pass card? I vaguely recall seeing it was only for the A Concourse KE lounges, not the main concourse. For showers, you should go to the OZ lounge, but their food selection is quite poor except during their very limited meal times. Can you go to more than one lounge? I'd recommend the OZ lounge for a shower and the HUB lounge for food. At 5AM, I think probably both OZ and the HUB lounges will be closed, though not 100% sure. Maybe someone else knows the operating hours.

It does look like PP is only valid at the A Concourse KE lounge.

No showers actually in that HUB lounge, but there are other shower facilities on the same (4th) floor. You will certainly have little company if you use the HUB - I was there in March and only had 5 others at 4pm. The food was pretty good (mainly hors d'oeuvres), bar was limited to bourbon, vodka and still wines w/ice, no twists. They had plenty of soft drinks/mixers in the fridge + Haggen Daz cups. A very good place for computer work, and an excellent view of the main terminal floor. The HUB is run by the airport facility (actually a sub. of Korean Air).

If you don't want to spend anything, the 4th floor is still good for relaxing with lounge chairs in the TV lounge and additional free computers there. The Transit Hotel is on the same floor with rooms and spa facilities. This floor is by far the quietest part of the airport since it's somewhat isolated from everything else and most passengers don't even know it's there.

HUB lounge at East Wing was voted as the best Priority Pass lounge in Asia-Pacific region for 2009.

FYI, you could post this in Asia Forum.

I second this. I am not really a dark wood leather chair kinda gal but in this Asiana Lounge, the design somehow works for me. Its actually REALLY comfortable with a touch of high class feel. I didnt really pay attention last time I was there, but I must go back and see what it is that makes it work in terms of interior decorating and materials. Bottom line - Excellent Lounge, perhaps one of the best. Way to go Asiana!

Martina lounge by Sheraton Hotel, if you want good food.
Other than that, OZ lounge.

Is the food in the Matina lounge better than the HUB lounge? I was pleasantly surprised that the HUB lounge food was much better than I was expecting, so if the Matina lounge is even better, I'll have to give it a try some time.

I personally thought the Marina lounge has slightly better offerings and quality than the Hub lounge. Also the Martina lounge is less crowded.

I tried out the Matina Lounge today and was disappointed. I defintely prefer the Hub Lounge. The food in my opinion wasn't as good, nor as good selection as the Hub lounge. It isn't as crowded, but it's basically just a restaurant and very limited seating. There's nothing to do there except eat and the seating for me isn't comfortable enough to spend a lot of time. The ice cream carries an additional $4 charge. The drink selection wasn't nearly as good as what I remembered in the Hub lounge. Still, I wouldn't say it was bad. Way better than the average Priority Pass lounge, but certainly not the best as far as my tastes go. And for food better than the OZ lounge if you're there outside the very limited OZ meal times.

I didn't stay in the lounge for more than 5 minutes and then escaped to the OZ F lounge.
