Hi Folks,
Here's a link (http://boardingarea.com/blogs/onemileatatime/2008/07/30/trip-report-intercontinental-grand-stanford-hong-kong/) to a trip report I wrote last summer about my stay at the InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong. I wasn't pleased at all with this stay, given the lack of RA benefits and complete unwillingess of them to "honor" the confirmation.

I stayed at the Grand Stanford again a couple of weeks ago, and had a great stay. It really is one of the best values out there as a Royal Ambassador. My report can be found here (http://boardingarea.com/blogs/onemileatatime/2009/09/05/quest-to-istanbul-and-hong-kong-part-8-intercontinental-grand-stanford-hong-kong/).
I second that. Stayed there just two weeks ago. Upgrade to City View Suite or Harbor View Club Room for RA depending your preference. If you do not have breakfast included then I would go for the Club upgrade.
Rooms are fine (I stayed in a supposedly refurbished one) but other then new carpet, new wall paper and a new flat screen tv all was the same then in the old rooms but still in reasonably okay condition. In the long run I hope they upgrade rooms more significantly and replace furniture, bed spreads etc but it is fine for now and the price is right for HKG.
Club lounge is very nice as shwon in the OPs trip report with very good food offerings in the morning, some nice snakcs and sweets in the afternoon and more munchies in the evening. Very nice and lounge staff are attenative and very polite and guest oriented. Big change to its early days as an IC after HI rebrand.
Overall very good value with excellent benefits including free internet too.
