Hawaii-based Airlines - HA Drive Thru Check-in Hours?

Noticed that HA's Drive Thru check-in at HNL isn't open at certain hours of the day. Anyone know what the hours are or even if it's still open?

Hawaiian's drive-through check-in has reopened at Honolulu International Airport for passengers.

HOURS OF OPERATION:
. INTERISLAND FLIGHTS: 0430 - 1600 *DAILY*
. TRANSPACIFIC FLIGHTS: 1030 - 1430 *DAILY*

CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS:
. INTERISLAND FLIGHTS: 2 HRS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE
. TRANSPACIFIC FLIGHTS: 3 HRS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE


A Hawaiian Airlines ticket agent will check you and your luggage in for your interisland flight. All passengers must be present at check in and have their identification and tickets ready. All drive-through check-in passengers may be subject to additional security checks.

Our drive-through check-in is located on the ground level of the mauka (mountain) side of the interisland terminal.

just tried the drive through a few weeks ago, just for fun. thought is was pretty convenient. didn't think it was so convenient when we our bags didn't show up at OGG. The baggage person their said, "oh, that's because you checked in less than 2 hours before your flight".

!?!?!?!?

I helpfully pointed out that the person at the drive through didn't alert me to this time frame restriction... had she mentioned it, gee, maybe I would have walked the 50 yards to check my bag upstairs. I got the shoulder shrug in response.

This wasn't a major problem as our bag came in on the next flight... just a good example of how Hawaiian can be terribly inconsistent and disorganized.

I'll join you in the ?!?!?! . Don't the conveyor belts at the drive thru check-in merge with the conveyor belts for the regular bags?
