I searched the forum, searched the web site, but cannot find out how to tell how much parking is without calling the property.
Did I just miss it somewhere?

Nope, with SPG you got to drop the Dime

do wish they would change it like MR has it front and center in the Directions to the Hotel area

I usually just give the property a quick call. It takes literally 1 minute to ask the receptionist who picks up the phone.

Calls to the Customer Contact Center are usually free as is the Click-to-Chat feature on the web sites.

I think we will see some more information forthcoming at the web sites with some of the background technology having been improved recently; however, it may take some time to catch up with everything that has higher priority first, so I can't say exactly when that might happen.

Well, IMO it's ridiculous that you have to call to find out this information. They can program in a myriad of different room rates that change daily if not more frequently, but they can't add a line to the T&Cs about how it costs to park? I can see at a glance how much it costs to ask for a crib to be sent to my room, but it's just too hard to put the parking info online?

I recently stayed at a property that I've stayed at multiple times in the past. On checkout I noticed a parking charge. I say what is this? The clerk replies that they just started charging for parking. I say how do you know I have a car? He says they just "assume" everyone has a car and it is up to me to tell them that I don't. I say no one mentioned anything at check-in about a parking charge and it's not disclosed on the Web site. He says I'm wrong, all of *wood properties put their parking charges online now. I say you are a complete moron. He says nothing. I say show me where it's disclosed online. He says nothing.

Now, was all of that really necessary? Wouldn't it be a lot easier just to add a line to the T&Cs with the parking charge?

Yankee Flyer kicks .... I agree, I have an issue with hotels that are 100% valet like the westin Imagine orlando. 20 per night parking. I had a uhaul truck with my car on a trailer, It wouldn't fit in the structure so I was allowed to "self park" behind the hotel for a bargain $10 per night. Its not posted anywhere and I feel its BULLSH*&T!
