Hi,

Quick question; I am booked in F class on SQ 26. For meals it says they will serve “supper”, not dinner. I have has SQ supper once in C class on a 10PM flight to Dubai and was severely disappointed! Even though Dubai is 4 hours behind (so around 6PM at that time) they served only a small salad and one small main (very little choice). According to SQ this was to allow for more uninterrupted rest during the flight.

Can anyone share their experience on this Frankfurt flight in F class. I am looking for a great meal, multiple courses etc. Is this the right assumption to have or can I expect just starter/main and then lights out?

Thanks!

Well, certainly the meal service is not as elaborate as a "Lunch" or "Dinner" designated flight. On a longhaul Lunch or Dinner flight you would have Satay, Caviar (if applicable), Starter, Salad, Soup, Main, Dessert, Cheese and Fruit.

The Supper service consists of Starter, Soup, Main Course, Cheese and Fruit.

Not quite the "starter/main then lights out" that you are asking about, but the meal service should definitely be quicker than the Lunch or Dinner menus. The flight departs so late that even those who haven't eaten before boarding would normally want to sleep ASAP so I guess they felt 7 courses would be overdoing it a little.
