Online Travel Booking and Bidding Agencies - Any leads on travel agencies or discounts for students?

My son is studying in Europe next fall and since he will be there longer than 30 days and needs to return close to Xmas...the regular air rates are exorbitant.

Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Have you looked at STA travel? I passed by one of their offices in Boston yesterday near Boston University, and they've been around for years. They specialize in student travel.

In addition to STA, try StudentUniverse.com or TravelCuts.com, although the first two usually have consistently better fares.

To add the information for others who may search, I did have very good luck with STA travel.

A ticket that I am still pricing out at Over $1800 cost a little over $1300 with them with the additional benefits of a $50 date change fee and a $200 cancellation fee prior to departure.
