Has anyone flown out of IAD with KE in J? I wonder what their lounge is like... from their website it seems that they are using Virgin Club House... Is the food good around 10:00-13:00? I guess there will be no VS passenger at that sort of time so I wonder if the service will be different (e.g. no champagne or limited booze etc). What's the food selection like?
Surely KE wants to give their F even better lounge (or section of lounge) than the J crowd... if this is the case, where can they put F passengers at IAD?

I've visited their lounge on May 2008, and it was overall pretty nice.
The lounge isn't the biggest, but it's rather cozy and typical Virgin-like interiors. The food offerings are all breakfast and snack items (pasturies, cereals, cheeses, etc...), and Korean Air staffs handle the lounge during that time. I'm not too sure about alcohols, but they did have some. (The link for IAD lounge information: http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/us/whatsonboard/clubhouses/iadclubhouse.jsp)
both F and J uses the VS lounge, but if you wish to use different lounge, there's NW WorldClub in that concourse. AF also has their lounge there but NH uses it during that time. There was also a report that NH didn't allow Skyteam passengers into the lounge and rather sent them to VS lounge.
These are also links to some of the pics I took if you're interested.
