There was an announcement an hour or two ago that limited service has been restored:

The only problem is that Amtrak screwed up the link to that announcement, and therefore the one that you copied actually leads to the announcement about the suspension of service.

Yes they ended most of the southbound trains at philadelphia this morning and it was an absolute chaos. It was obvious that quite a few of the Amtrak customer service employees were caught off-guard and not used to handling the crowd. The ClubAcela lady was absolutely incompetent and kept getting upset at customers even though I counted a total of 7-8 customers in the lounge at 9:15Am. It was obvious she was never used to really "working" at that time and was caught off-guard providing service to 8 folks. I was one of the first few to hit the lounge and there were 4 of us who kept ringing the bell to the lounge for 10 minutes or so before she opened the door!

Although I have to say that some of the Amtrak supervisor's on the floor were very helpful in trying to help the customers as best as they can.

I posted a link announcing that limited service was being restored.

I'm not accusing you of doing anything wrong, so please don't get upset. Amtrak is the one who screwed things up here, they announced on the main page that service was restored, but when you click on the link to read the story, the story talks about the intial problem and the fact that the NEC is shut down.

The link on the Amtrak site, is the same one that you posted, and therefore due to Amtrak's mistake, anyone clicking on the link above that you posted was for a while taken to the wrong press release. It's fixed now.

I was never getting directed to a story that only talked about the initial problem. After 1pm, it was always coming up for me as the current release showing that service was restored.

Same link, not the same results?
