Can any WestJetter tell me how WS did on their seasonal MCO routes... particularly YXU-MCO? Will we see this route return next year?

But Winnipeg, London and Halifax haven't been loaded into the sched yet. StuMcIlwain Apr 28, 09, 5:06 pm The current on-line schedule for next winter is just a copy of whatever they flew this year, minus any last-minute add-ons due to Transat charter cancellations (such as YWG-MCO). They usually announce next winter's schedule sometime in late spring / early summer. WestJet ended their contract with Transat this year, so unless the seasonal routes were complete disasters, I'd expect to see them back next year. They will have a lot more capacity to schedule next winter. DanJ Apr 29, 09, 12:12 am It's not official unless it's from Westjet, but the YXU airport manager was on the radio recently saying the YXU-MCO flights went out full for the most part. Not bad for Tuesdays. I'd like to see something that lines up more with the weekend cruise schedules from Canaveral though. However, I think we are at the mercy of available capacity/hardware. I hope maybe to see something out of YKF too. Tired of driving to BUF or DTW.... just plain old tired of YYZ! |
